Pule Events, has partnered with digital ticketing platform Pamsika Online to sell tickets for gospel music shows online.
Under the partnership, gospel artists and event organisers working with Pule Events can list their shows on Pamsika Online. Fans will then be able to buy tickets using their phones or computers without having to visit physical ticket outlets.
Pule Events Manager Precious Chikatiko said the partnership is aimed at saving people time and reducing the stress associated with buying tickets.
Chikatiko said the organisers want to improve the experience for both event organisers and ticket buyers by making it possible for people to purchase tickets without travelling from one place to another.
Pamsika Online Marketing Officer Olive Gawanika said the partnership could change the way gospel events are managed in Malawi.
Gospel artists Thoko Katimba and King James Phiri have also welcomed the initiative, saying online ticket sales will make the process easier for both artists and organisers.
They said the system will also help event organisers keep track of ticket sales more effectively.
Pamsika Online allows customers to purchase tickets through Airtel Money, Mpamba and bank payments.
