Old Mutual supports Beit Cure’s landmark disability campaign

Old Mutual Malawi Limited has channeled a support of MK2.5 million to Beit Cure International Hospital to support this year’s Night to Shine Gala which aims at breaking stereotypes on people with disabilities.

In addition, the event is routinely aimed at instilling hope into the people with disabilities, especially those that are teenagers.

Old Mutual Life Assurance Company Managing Director Roy Punungwe said the support is as a result of a visible perseverance by Beit to transforming the lives of children with disabilities.

He said: As Beit Cure, our view is that the Night to Shine event meaningfully embodies the need for us to empower the population. All along, our view is that the event has and continues to enhance create unforgettable experience for the children who now must see the world differently,” said Punungwe.

According to Elly Chemey Beit Cure International Hospital Executive Director, the event has always been crucial in the effort that they make towards breaking various differences that existence in the community.

‘’ We will be hosting over 35 children at the Night to Shine dinner on 31st January and we excited with the support from Old Mutual today,’’ he said.
