Over two hundred billion kwacha has been realized from this year’s tobacco marketing season, authorities say.
This has followed a sale of over one hundred and two million kilograms.
Speaking to MIJ Online, Telephorus Chigwenembe Spokesperson for Tobacco Commission said the season has been a success.
He said this is because the country has maintained good prices throughout the period plus and that buyers were offering relatively better prices.
