The Super League of Malawi has announced stringent measures aimed at total security during the derby in the TNM Super League between Mighty Mukuru Wanderers and FCN Nyasa Big Bullets including a ban of alcoholic drinks in the stands.
The statement comes ahead of the match involving town foes who are in chase for the honors this season.

In a statement, Sulom says some of the measures include, provision of adequate security including Police, Stewards and Private Security companies, no alcoholic drinks shall be allowed inside the Stadium and that no spectators shall be allowed beyond the barricades in the open stands.
Appropriate disciplinary action, including arrest shall be implemented anyone attempting to go beyond the barricades.
The statement adds that all gates shall be opened at 8am to allow moderated and smooth entry into the stadium.
Open stands have since been placed at MK3,000.00 with MBC stand MK5,000.00 with covered stands at MK8,000.00 and VIP terraces at MK15,000.00
The Nomads are third in the table with 18 points from 10 games, three points behind second placed Bullets and six behind leaders Silver Strikers
