The Teachers Union of Malawi is putting hopes that unemployment numbers will go down in the country following the introduction of specific technical subjects in schools.
The hopes are being raised as the subjects are now to start in primary schools nationwide in partnership with Teveta whose modelling was done in 34 schools.
Speaking to MIJ Online, Charles Kumchenga, secretary General Teachers Union of Malawi has said the subjects will induce a sense of self dependence when learners are young which is crucial is ending unemployment.
