Top notch entrepreneurs to grace Wealth creation conference in Malawi

A pool of inspiring entrepreneurs from the African continent will attend this year’s Wealth Creation Conference due to take place in Lilongwe, Malawi organized by Sycamore Consult.

The conference takes place on 31st August at the Bingu Convention Centre (BICC).

The guest of honor will be Dumisani Ncube, a Zambia entrepreneur who is rated by Forbes as Africa’s second youngest millionaire at only 29 years old and is expected to deliver a keynote address.

Ncube, who is founder and CEO of DLN Technologies Limited and DLN Construction Limited with a workforce in excess of 300 will focus on ‘Role of Entrepreneurship in Wealth Creation’.

Makwakwa: This will be an eye opening conference.

Apart from that, according to Mwawi Makwakwa Chief Executive Officer for Sycamore Consult, they have engaged a range of top notch Malawian corporate executives to make their presentations at the conference.

For instance, Prophet Shephard Bushiri who has been heavily in the news for the setting up of a modern city known as Goshen will deliver a presentation on ‘Mindset change; How to think Big’.

On the other hand, Standard Bank Malawi CEO, Phillip Madinga will centre his presentation on Turning around business while National Planning Commission Director General, Thomas Munthali will title his presentation The Road to Malawi 2063.

‘’The conference is towards complementing the MW2063 theme of ‘An Inclusively Wealthy & Self-reliant Nation’ and Africa’s Millennium Developmental Goal of eradicating poverty,’’ says Makwakwa.

He adds:  “This summit is important to the country in implementing the MW2063 vision with a different wealth creation mindset for all by all — to avoid the challenges that were there in implementing Vision 2020 for Malawi,”.

He has since stressed that benefits of attending will among other things allow people to understand concepts of mindset change, creating opportunities and pursuing challenging times.
