The Lilongwe Magistrate Court has reserved to tomorrow its ruling on a bail application by social media activist-Joshua Chisa Mbele.
Mbele was arrested following his Facebook post of a fake document with alleged names of top government officials implicated in Zuneth Sattar’s corruption case.
But when he appeared before the court – earlier today – to be formally charged and to apply for bail, he pleaded not guilty to two counts of criminal libel and publication of offensive material.
