CDH Investment Bank has donated K8.5million to the Economics Association of Malawi (ECAMA) to support the 2026 annual conference, which is set for 29–30 October at Sunbird Nkopola in Mangochi.
The event carries the theme: “From Policy to Practice: Making Reforms Work.”
Presenting the cheque in Lilongwe, CDH Investment Bank’s Account Relationship Manager – Corporate and Public Sector, Mrs Jennie Madinga, said the donation acknowledges ECAMA’s vital role in driving Malawi’s economic growth.
She added that the conference will provide a platform for stakeholders to discuss and develop action plans to translate policies into tangible outcomes, contributing to Malawi Vision 2063.
Dr Esmie Koriheya Kanyumbu Economics Association of Malawi (ECAMA), Executive Director of ECAMA expressed gratitude, describing the support as a timely boost ahead of the annual conference.

The conference aims to bring together policymakers, the private sector, and scholars to turn policy reforms into practical, implementable actions that advance Malawi’s economic development.
