Government has admitted that it is waiting for donor support in a bid to tame hunger that families affected by Cyclone Freddy are faced with.
The admission followed a wide range of questions that members of parliament posed to Sam Kawale, Minister of Agriculture on what measures which have been put in place to support the affected population.
Speaking to MIJ Online, Kawale said they are in talks with donors so that people are supported with food items.
According to Kawale with the huge extent of the devastation by cyclone Freddy government will be encouraging farmers to do irrigation with resources that will be provided.
