Authorities have inaugurated Tanzania Ports Authority -TPA which seeks to ease regional maritime trade and logistics services in the country.
The Tanzania Ports Authority will be operating in Lilongwe.
Speaking to MIJ Online Prof Makame Mbarawa Minister for Transport in Tanzania said the launch of the TPA in the country speak volumes of how the two countries are commited to promote world class maritime trade and logistics services.
According to Mbarawa as Tanzania they will make sure that the TPA works for the betterment of both countries.
And on his part, Jacob Hara Minister of Transport, said the establishment of Tanzania Ports Authority is a gateway to global trade and prosperity in the country.
