A good governance analyst Tiyane Nyirenda has rated National Economic Empowerment Fund Limited- NEEF poorly on disbursement of loans in the year 2021.
Nyirenda said this in his assessment of the performance of government in promoting good governance in the year 2021.
The remarks are also coming at a time authority at NEEF have indicated that loans amounting to 25.6 billion kwacha have been disbursed under the program to 86 thousand Malawians this year.
But Nyirenda told MIJ Online that NEEF has failed its duties saying many deserving Malawians are yet to access the loans midst economic hardships brought by Covid-19.
