Stakeholders in the Education sector have expressed need to train children in different skills if the country is to develop.
Lotus international School Principal Kanchan Shelar said this on Saturday during a graduation ceremony for children who have done well in Karate, Sports, Music and other studies.
Speaking to MIJ Online, Shelar emphasized on the need to impart children with different types of skills, saying behind every successful country there are well trained children.
“The children graduating today, have done well in class but also in different skills. The skills are very important for their own development and also health”. said Shelar.
Guest of Honor at the event, Jitendra Agrawal who is also Chief Finance Officer for Lilongwe Dairy expressed need for the country to invest more in early childhood education inorder to improve their foundation.
