The United Nations education scientific and cultural organization-UNESCO has cancelled its planned launch of the 2020 global education monitoring report due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Events marking the launch which were expected to take place on 8th April 2020 in various cities across the world, will now take place on 23 June this year.
Among others the 2020 GEM Report will assess progress towards Sustainable Development Goal 4 (SDG 4) on education and its ten targets, as well as other related education targets in the SDG agenda.
The Report will also address inclusion in education, drawing attention to all those excluded from education, because of background or ability.
