Utilise the given time – Learners urged as Maneb sticks to ground on calendar
An advice has gone out to learners in the Southern region to disregard disruptions they encountered in preparation for national examinations that are administered by Maneb.
The advice by Jack Nankhumwa – Project Coordinator of Centre for Religion and Public Affairs comes amid a proposal that Maneb should extend the exam period as the region had classes suspended due to the impacts of Cyclone Freddy.
Meanwhile, Maneb has declined the proposal saying that it has a potential of disrupting the entire national examination calendar.
But, according to Nankhumwa, there is need for the learners and teachers in the region to capitalize on the remaining period to cover areas of study that were not covered during the closure.
