High Court Judge Anabel Mtalimanja has adjourned the Area 24 arson case to August 30th, 2022.
In the case suspended UDF’s spokesperson- Ken Ndanga and six others are answering murder charges -following an arson attack that led to the death of Mr and Mrs Tambala and their son in Lilongwe.
Yesterday trial in the case failed to resume -after the state sought an adjournment- in order to file additional evidence
Speaking to MIJ Online, Bridget Kumwenda- state lawyer- said the court has granted them until 29th July -to file the additional evidence.
In his response -defense lawyer Oscar Taulo expressed reservation on the application for adjournment by the state- saying he was informed late.
