The UTM Disciplinary Committee suspended its Regional Secretary for the North- Jane Mbale with immediate effect.
Confirming the matter to MIJ Online, Frank Mwenefumbo, Publicity Secretary for the Party, said Mbale has been suspended for allegedly aiding illegal immigrants using the party’s vehicle.
Mwenefumbo has told us the alleged misconduct is against the provision of the UTM constitution.
Meanwhile, the publicity secretary has said the suspension will remain in force until judgement has proven Mbale not guilty.
Mbale is expected to surrender all party materials.
