Fallen popular television host is being described as a pioneer in promoting Malawi’s music through his show Music Splash.
Kapusa who rose to fame for hosting a program on state television Music Splash reportedly died this morning.
He became a household name under the name Splash On, a tagline he used in the famous music program.
Meanwhile, MISA Malawi Chairperson Golden Matonga has said the mark that Kapusa has left will always be felt for ages.
Matonga said Kapusa had managed to create a charismatic profile which media practitioners must emulate.
‘’ As a fraternity, we will honor his legacy by upholding the values he epitomized throughout his career, ensuring that his legacy remains a guiding light for future generations of journalists,’’ he said.
Details about his burial are yet to be known.
