Nsanje council moves to address youth challenges

The department of youth at Nsanje district council is intensifying efforts to reach out with mental support to the youth that were affected by Cyclone Freddy.
Nsanje District Youth Officer, Getrude Francisco said they are building psychological on mental health statuses of the population as they also heavily fell effect to the disaster in several ways.
Francisco says a recent four day long training involve two youth clubs namely Gandale and Mpomba.
Francisco said they have targeted 45 youth who will be drilled through other social activities like sport.

Alice Thomas from Gandale Youth thanked the department for the training.
The department of youth is implementing the project for the period of 3 months from April to June, with financial support from the Unicef amounting to K20 million.
