The Malawi National Council of Sports says all is now in place to relaunch the Sports for All campaign in Ntcheu district tomorrow.
The event will take place at Mlanda primary school from 09:00. The day will start with a healthy walk from Bomba filling station to Mlanda primary school.
Activities on the day will include aerobics, Bawo, Draughts, Chess, Jingo, Skipping, athletics, walking races, wheelchair race, volleyball, netball, football and tug of war.
Traditional dances have also been included to spice the event.
Malawi National Council of Sports Board Chairperson Dr Sunduzwayo Madise and the ambassador of the sport for all initiative Inkosi ya Makhosi Gomani V as well as Ntcheu District Commissioner (DC) will take part in the sporting events.
All Traditional Authorities (T/A) and Chiefs that are under Inkosi Gomani will also be at the event to show support for the Sport for All program.
The Sport for All initiative was introduced by the MNCS in 2021 in order to encourage citizens to take part in sport and physical activities, regardless of age, gender or ability as only healthy citizens can contribute positively to the development of the country.
